Email sign-up
The “Let's Keep in Touch” email form in the footer adds your email address to a mailing list stored in Resend's Contacts system, a third-party email service, solely so I can send recipe updates to people who've asked for them. I don't collect a name or any other information with it, and it isn't used for anything besides that mailing list. The same spam checks described under Recipe requests below apply to this form too. This site doesn't have its own unsubscribe flow — email me at matchabzz@gmail.com if you'd like to be taken off the list, and I'll remove you by hand.
Recipe requests
The recipe-request form (“Can't find what you're craving?”) sends the category and details you submit to me by email, using Resend, a third-party email delivery service, solely to deliver your request to my inbox. It isn't stored in a database or used for anything else. A few automated, invisible checks run on submission to filter out spam before anything is sent: a hidden field, a minimum-time check, and a temporary rate limit keyed to your IP address. That rate limit is handled by Upstash — it's used only to prevent abuse, and how long Upstash itself retains it is governed by Upstash's own practices, not something this site controls. None of these checks collect anything else about you.
Site interaction data
This site includes lightweight tracking of basic interactions — things like which recipes are viewed, what's searched for, and which filters are used. The purpose is to understand whether visitors can actually find and complete what they're looking for, and to improve the site accordingly. These events never include the text of a recipe request, an email address, a raw search query, or any other free-form text you've typed — only which recipe, filter, or button was involved.
This site also uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Standard information like page views, referring pages, country, device type, browser, and operating system is collected and provided by Vercel as the analytics provider — it isn't implemented by this site's own code, and Vercel is designed to provide it without third-party cookies. Speed Insights similarly collects and helps provide performance measurements through Vercel's own service. This site's own code doesn't use cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage to create or maintain a user profile, on top of whatever Vercel's services do on their own. None of this is used to build advertising profiles, sell personal information, or serve targeted ads.
Service providers
This site is hosted on Vercel, which also provides the Web Analytics and Speed Insights described above. Separately from that, Vercel's hosting infrastructure processes standard technical information about each request as a normal part of running any site on its platform — that's part of Vercel's own infrastructure, covered by Vercel's own documentation, not something this site's code adds or controls. Recipe requests and newsletter sign-ups are handled by Resend, as described above, which may also process related delivery and service metadata under its own policies. The temporary, IP-based rate limit mentioned under Recipe requests is provided by Upstash. Each of these is a separate company with its own privacy practices.
Recipe card downloads
When you use “Download Recipe Card,” the image is generated and saved entirely within your own browser. It isn't uploaded, sent to me, or stored anywhere else — I never see or receive a copy of what you download.

Unless a specific recipe page states otherwise, all photos and recipe imagery on this site are my own.
